In a previous post I talked about rebuilding my forks with a Burly Low Boy set up. The instal went fine and I replaced all usual parts including upper and lower bushings as well as oil lock pieces. Everything feels fine and rides great. Since then I ended up doing some touch up paint on the sliders so I took the wheel off. But when I was doing the paint I felt the left fork grinding when I rotated the slider around. Right side is fine. What gives??

 

Oil lock retainer bolt up through the bottom tight?

 

Yup I had to recheck that one because there was a little weep of oil after the initial install
