Default 1998 FXD

1998 FXD 6000 miles
Tires look o.k. What type of mileage do these tires get. Should I replace based on the age to be safe.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I would inspect them closely for dry rot. If you see any small cracks in the sidewalls replace them. If you are thinking of a long highway trip maybe replace them too. But if they look good, ride them to 10k but make sure you keep them inflated correctly to spec. so they don't overheat on the highway. Plus measure the tread depth with a guage at a dealer who knows what the correct depth should be for your bike/tires. Tire wear depends on riding style & aggressiveness, proper inflation, tire type, road type and condition. Lots of variables.
