Default Ohlins Shock Question

Replacing my shocks to Ohlins and there's a little bit of play in the eyebolt/top bushing compared to stock. Doesn't seem too crazy but just wanted to see if anyone experienced the same and if it was okay.

Mine came with a cylinder type shim for the "eyes'. I can't remember if there was a little play in them once I installed the shim cylinders, but I can say my stock 2015 FXDB shock bolts and Ohlins are holding up great after 15 months.

bought mine used, so no shim. Side question, did you use a different acorn bolt for the top eye since the stock shock is fatter than the ohlins?

This. Should be no play.

Came with spacers. Use stainless steel washers to shim it out a bit. Make sure it's perpendicular with the ground. Highly recommended getting the tube spacers from Ohlins. You don't want them rattling around.

I used the same acorn nuts on mine, with a spacer on either side one the shock. SO, that would four per shock.

What others have said. There should be spacers and washers provided. Used acorn bolt also.

Ohlins are metric sized eyes and should come with the SAE sleeves. Ohlins should get you on track. There should be very little movement when installed.
