Default Newer style hand controls

I have a 74 electra glide, I've never been a fan of the small round button style controls. I'm sure the wiring is different but that I can figure out, but would there be any other reason why say the stock controls off of a newer street glide or something similar wouldn't work on my bike?. Nothing to intricate, just on/off, start, horn, lights and blinkers. I can figure out the wiring, as I would think it would be the same number of wires. I just like the design of the newer switches over the lil round suckers that always seem to pop out. Any one know anything along these lines?

They will work. Iï¸ would imagine you would want the ones from about 96-07 roughly. Iï¸ could seed the need for a Mastercylinder from that era to fit with the controls aesthetically
