Thinking about Lighted Hand Controls
I know, I know... they're cheesy and unnecessary. But somehow, I think it would be kind of cool and classy.
Anyone installed these? The instructions don't look like there's any wiring to be done within the bars, just at the controls.

Maybe it's just me me but I do not have to look at my controls to use them in the dark. Well, maybe to find the horn, I usually just rapp my throttle if I need to let someone know I'm there.

I have seen other people post about them and get made fun of for them. I dont think they are required as most of us know the controls by muscle memory. However I have had a Can-Am and a BMW motorcycle that have had them and I will say they make the hand controls look finished and classy. I also would like to have them on my Ultra Limited. It is a shame they are so expensive or I would already have them.

2 little plugs connect to each switch pack. The instructions that came with mine had a typo regarding the mounting bolt torque, though. Way higher than the service manual calls for and would have probably stripped them.
I guess the MOCO must feel obligated to get at least one thing wrong with everything they sell - just for the sake of "tradition" if nothing else.
Really like the look and they work as advertised, plus they come with a full 1-year warranty. The sales guy said they're more "water resistant" too - but who knows.

And for me, BECAUSE they're unnecessary, I'm willing to install them, but only if I didn't have to wire through the bars; too much hassle.
