I am getting a wicked vibration on the left side mirror,it is impossible to see anything out of it. I took it off and tightened it back up, but still bad. It seems to bejust the mirror, the grip is ata normal vibration. Any suggestions?
move your head in sync with the vibration. tthats some practice but you get used to it. j/k but I have the same problem with my left side mirror. and it vibrates more if I take my hand off the grip. I asked the dealer about it and they said it was normal.
get a better mirror. i have the poly riser bushings and my mirror doesnt move at all.
or just take the right one off and you wont have anything to compare it to
It may have nothing to do with it but there is more weight hanging on the right side (mastercylinder) than the left.
Increased mass would dampen the vibration not make it worse.
Exactly, which explains the "wicked vibration" on the LEFT mirror. I notice the same thing and figured the right side was more tame due to the added weight.
