Default New Leatherpro Bags

Has anyone gotten the new Leatherpro bags? Is the new ballistic material noticeably better than the older? If yes, how so? I always felt the older versions lacked shape.

I picked up the Version2 Leatherpros shortly after they released and I love them. The ballistic nylon feels tough as nails and seem to be holding their shape really well. I think the V2s sit a little higher on the older bikes, but they still look good.

Those bags leave some pretty big brackets hanging on the bike when they're removed right? That and having to put a trash bag inside to keep gear dry kept them off the list for me.

Nope. Not much difference from the HD removable sissy bar mounts... basically two approx 1” long pegs that stick out from the fender strut bolts. Hardly noticeable when the bags are off.

At least that was how it was on the previous generation I had last year... If you look closely to my sig pic you can see the rear one.

Can you throw up another pic is you get the chance?

Maybe I'm confused with another brand, Conley's maybe??

I don’t have any close ups, but this should give you the idea. Looking at leatherpro site it doesn’t look like he changed the design so this should be it for the new bags as well.

Just two little pegs...

That's good right there, I had it confused with another brand. That's the look I'm after with the bags off. Thank you.

They look bad as! Would the leather ones be a better choice over the ballistic?

The Conely's gen 1 bags had the huge brackets that stayed on the bike when the bags were off.

The new Leather pros mount the same way the old ones do with the two mounting points.
