Default another sissy bar thread

hello all!
so I have a 2013 fxdbp with read led turns my passenger wants a sissy bar. so I'm searching. I would love a detachable but Im not in for the relocation I don't car much for the look. I like the bobber style and she wants a mid back pad not one close to the tail bone. I've seen the gas box one but has no location for back pad. and I'm uncertain if anything would work with the led tails I have. any help would be appreciated.

HD detachable setup, HD has all the parts for it. MID backrest, perfect for what your asking. Pad is cheap feeling fyi but postion wise its not on tailbone.

Your lights can just be extended out with the HD kit.

I went with a Ginz Choppers sissy bar which works with the Harley detachable system. You end up losing the wings the tail lights mount with and they move out a little bit. If you have the stock side plate mount you might have to figure something else out if you dont like the Harley relo bracket. As for the back pad I made my own and had it upholstered by sick saddles. I used emt clamps as my mounting system.

With the pad

Without the pad. I don't generally take the bar itself off.

This is the best shot I have of the lights I can get a better one if you like later.

Do a search on the forum or go to hd website. The information is all there. The signal quick release extenders is a very typical mod.
