I have been looking at those. I see them listed for the FXDX, but not the FXD, is there some difference I am missing? Exhaust fitment or something?

The FLD 'boards are "designed"/listed for the '06 & later bikes, but bolted up to my '02 like they were made for it. Think I had to buy one small cotter pin for the brake pedal pivot. The instructions want you to pull the primary to remove the old shift lever, but not necessary. I'll even send you the little bracket to bolt down the shift lever if you decide to go that route.

The factory shifter rod is cheesy as hell, so I replaced it with a nice Landmark polished stainless piece with the good heim joints. Shifting feels more precise & easier to find neutral as well.
