Name calling
OK, this weekend I had the worst mistaken identity yet. I'm used to the sportster comments from the uneducated. But for the first time ever I had someone ask me if my bike was a.... a...... NIGHT TRAIN?!!!!
And what made it worse was that he was a Harley rider!

You should be happy he compared your bike to a NT. Just a quick glance the only thing thatdistinguishes the 2 are the exposed rear shocks and the bars...Minor differences. Think of the NT as the Softail Bob.

I've had to explain to quite a few people what a Streetbob is. They make the jump to night train because of the blacked out motor. It comes off as a goofy question to those of us that know the difference but you just have to tolerate the blank expression as you explain the difference.
