Default 2007 Dyna Jiffy Stand

I was cleaning the bike in the shed the other day and not sure if i bumped the jiffy stand or it just came up by itself, the jiffy stand started to go up luckily i caught the bike in time before it fell over.. Has anyone had this kind of issue with the jiffy stand id there something i should look at seems to me it shouldn't come up so easy with the weight of the bike on it
Thanks

Sure. Lay on the ground, on your back with a flashlight on the left side of your bike while the Jiffy stand is down.
Now look up at he jiffy stand while in it's position in the frame.
Then come back and tell us what you did wrong.
Honestly, you need to look at it.

Sounds like you didn't have the stand extended all the way. Should never "come up" on its own.

The "locking lug" wasn't fitted properly into its recess. I've had it happen once before on my bike. We do it 10,000 times the correct way. Then we get sloppy and complacent, and that's when stuff happens.
