It really isn't a height or reach issue. In order to clear the exhaust on the Superglide and move the further forward controls forward the design of the HD further forwards rider foot peg bracket is raised in the design about 1.5 inches to clear the exhaust in the further forward position. As a result the brake pedal sits lower than the foot peg. As such it required a funky (think ballerina) toe movement to operate the brake. On my sons Low rider which has the further forwards as stock the exhaust was designed to allow for a better fitment with the further forward controls.

On my Street Bob with the bassani road rage iii it fits perfectly without any of the issues described above.
