Default Handle Bar/cable help

I have an 01 superglide and putting new bars on and having trouble trying to get the length of my cables. I bought the bike with a wide glide front end on my superglide, and he also gave me a spare pair of bars which I’m assuming they are the 10” rise stock wide glide bars. I want to put them on with a 3” riser. Has anyone done this swap or know of a place to get stock cable lengths from an 01 wide glide? Pleas could use se help. Below is a picture of the current set up with the stock bars and risers

I'd mock up the throttle cables you do have, correctly attached to the carburetor/throttle body in the general route you want. Then measure from the top end of the cable housing (not the cable itself) how much further you would need to go to reach the throttle cable housing. I'd also do it with the wheel turned all the way left, since that's generally the longest distance the cables will need to go.

Now measure the throttle cable from one end of the cable housing to the other. Add the two measurements together. That's how long of a throttle/idle cable you need.

JP Cycles has throttle cables for sale all day long. Just double check that the advertised length is for the cable housing versus the cable. But that's how it was when buying replacements for a 97 sportster.

Yeah, the Magnum cables site;
https://www.magnumshielding.com/
You have to do some digging, find your year,, then find the cable,, then click that cable stock number and it'll give you the length.
Then there are options to add 2-4-6,,, and you can click those cable stock numbers and find the length.
Other wise; Mock-up your handle bars(mount), and use a length of wire/string/yarn to route your cables like you want to and measure those,,
You dig around long enough you'll find what I'm talking about.
,, then find a local Drag Specialties dealer and order the magnum cables to save 30% from Magnums list price

Timely post op. Just received my bars and looking around on Magnum site to plan cable purchase.

JohnMn...Your measurement comments..how do I take into account the slack needed in the cables? Clutch example.. So I add bars, place string where housing sits on bar and measure from that point down to clutch cable end?

I run magnum shielding cables and lines on my 14 (ABS) they cost nearly $1000 AUD

On my 10 I am running OEM street bob cables. I have every cable for about $130 AUD all in. (brake line will be Magnum or Goodridge)

Those bars you posed it the first pic look to be street bob bars. I'd just order street bob cables/lines from the dealer.

So I add bars, place string where housing sits on bar and measure from that point down to clutch cable end?
.
(cable housing=sheath)
If you do that they'll end up long,, just measure to the sheath mount points
What us common folks refer to as a "cable is actually two parts,, the cable with ends and the sheath,, when we extend our bars or risers and need longer,, and order longer,, we usually enter the year and model for the bike,, that info (year/model) tells the dealer how much cable play is needed for that bike. They don't need any more info then how much longer you need the sheath,,
,,follow that?
(let's just use clutch cable)
So if you measure from grip end of the "sheath" while the handle is extended to the other side "cable" end,, your extension will be the length of cable play for your model too long.
They will know the cable play for your bike,, they need to know how much longer you need the sheath/cable housing,,
