Default 17 fxdls.

Have the 17 low rider s. Vance and Hines short pipe and pre street tuner. Just took it in yesterday for dyno tune. Bike is much better. Anyone familiar with the 117 bolt on kit. If i buy the kit can I or should I keep the cams that come with the kit or upgrade. Any ideas? How about no 117 kit and just cams

Hi. I have the same bike and I bought it with the Screamin eagle 117 kit already installed. Goes really well as is although I have a supertrapp 2-1 exhaust too which is a decent performance exhaust.

If I had the opportunity to put the 117 kit in myself I’d have used a thinner head gasket to increase compression slightly and used another cam like the tman 600sm. But in all honesty most people (including me) would be wrapt with how it goes with just the kit parts.
