I have a brake bleeding tool/pump. It works from the bleeder valve on the caliper. It basically sucks the fluid through so the cover can be off as long as you don't let the reservoir go empty and suck air (cause then you have to start over...lol).

Cool! I have a Mytivac boxed up somewhere. I'll have to find it. But first to get that damn cover off!

I got that sumbitch off, yay me!

The brake fluid in there looks like prehistoric dark brown fluid - time for a thorough flush.
