Default Rear brake master cylinder

I think whoever designed this bike should be shot for not making a extended fill for the rear brake master cylinder,I am going to see if the aftermarket has a fix for this as it was a pain to add brake fluid and glad I did not have to do it on the road.

Just buy a $1.99 turkey baster from the local supermarket. Easy to add/remove brake fluid from the rear master cylinder. The design is crap - I agree. But there's no need to spend lots of dollars to fix a problem that can be fixed for $1.99.

I bought a "ketchup" squirt bottle and put a piece of hose on it to service the rear resevoir. My bitch is getting to the hardware to remove the cover.

I had a hard time getting to the screws and putting the cover back on was not much fun too.

Veterinary syringe with a piece of clear tubing on it. Big one, like 30 or 50 cc I think. If the tubing is the right size you can use it on the bleeder nipple too.

I bled the rear brake caliper today and I completely agree about removing the screws, especially the forward one.

How DO you unscrew the cover? I don't see how to get a philips screwdriver down in there.

Craftsman makes these little ratchets, about 2 inches long that take screwdriver bits and they're angled out of the box. That's what I've been using for a while and it's awesome.
