If you haven't placed your order yet, most dealer and parts sites let you shop for a particular model of motorcycle. Enter you bike model, then sort the results by price from low to high.

Edit to add, looks like it doesn't copy the sort in the link, you have to select sort by price low to high manually. but I think you get the idea.

Thanks for all the ideas. I think VAFish definitely gets the creativity award! I'm thinking I'm gonna get a Custom Dynamics lay-down license plate mount, just have to go out to the barn and look at it to decide if I want black or chrome.
