Are the 4R an acceptable replacement? Motors a 1974 big inch in a fx. I have no need for a resistor plug, but that's what local Harley had. I feel like the bike isn't running as well, but I'm chasing other demons out also. What's everyone's opinion, and experience?
And???? For Points??? Fine either way, but non resistor preferred..
If Electronic Ignition??? Which one?
The Heat range on the other hand, can only be determined by Running the engine, with a Proper tune...
Points ignition. Gotta get her tuned proper though. But that's a whole other story, involving other threads....

Xtreme Sport Iridium Spark Plug - XS-85 (short reach)
Xtreme Sport Iridium Spark Plug - XS-65 (long reach)
to each his own -- I use 4 XS-65 in my 97"
most spark plus you don't notice the difference-- I notice with the XS-65 --
And I will Not use Iridium.. nor any other "long life" type plug. I can afford to replace plugs with abandon... Don't need, nor desire, long life, nor metals that don't give up electrons readily...Give me Copper every time...
Yes there is a difference... if talking tenths or less... it is apparent...

can I ask what you run? As in preferred brand, maybe part numbers?
