spark plug wire wear through!
I just heard the front spark plug wire is rubbing against the fuel tank and wearing a hole through the wire 4" above the spark plug boot! Anyone seen this ?

Yup!!! Been talked about and has had a few threads detailing it. H-D has had this issue since the Rushmores came out and still no fix or recall.
Told my Dealer about it and they put a plastic wire loom around the area where it wears @

In 2018 a retainer was added for the left front plug that secured the wire away from the tank.. Having seen this problem on past bikes, I put some spiral wrap on areas that might rub.

Front outside plug wire.....right where it comes out from under the tank. Just look....you see the wire touching....or the fancy zip tie clip holding it.
