Congrats Ryan, I can always appreciate someone doing their own work.
I've done bodywork most of my life, and am always impressed with the new products on the market. When I painted my bike parts, it's the 1st time I ever used the acrylic urathane.
I've used other systems including Imron, and found the acrylic clearcoat basecoat a real pleasue to use.

And Rick, why-for-how-come someone doesn't put those fancy paints in rattle-cans for us chea, er, frugal types?
Well I got bored last night and decided to bundle up and take my 1st ride since they delivered the bike. I am so glad I finally invested in a bike - even in the freezing cold it has to be the funnest thing I have ever done and I can't wait for it to get warmer. Supposed to clear up and hit 60 this weekend and rest assured I will be hitting the back roads.
Oh yeah, are any of you Tx member going to Austin for the R-O-T ralley in June? I will be there for a volleyball tournament that weekend and it looks like I will be driving the bike for sure. We are staying a block from 6th street and I heard it gets crazy. Just wondering who is going. Gotta head to class. Later. Ryan
