Default Help needed removing headlight mounting bracket

Hello all. New rider, new Switchback owner here. Have had the bike for just over a week and so far absolutely thrilled with my choice of ride.

First thing I'm doing is swapping out all the lights for LED and moving the front turn signals. Tried to remove the headlight but had issues removing the bracket. There are eight screws securing the bracket to rubber...things. Not nuts, more like threaded rubber grommets. Four of the screws came out fine. The remaining loosen but then the rubber "not nuts" just spin. Tried using a socket to hold those still but didn't help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Buy the service manual or the online service manual. You will glad you did.

I do have that but only mentions to remove those 8 screws. Doesn't address what to do if you cannot remove those screws.
