I like it. He's looking for more wrecked FXDLS's to rebuild with the fxr copy rear frame.

That's a $10-12K bike out here as it sits, FXR's of any variation bring good $$$, anything under $7000 you can bet been run to **** or gomered up by SOA wannabe's.

I had an early '84 FXRS,correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it was the lightest modern big twin H-D ever made at just 575lbs..
It was a dry clutch/chain drive bike like a Shovel but had the early Evo motor, often regret letting it go.

[/QUOTE you are probably right about it being The lightest big twin. 575 is only 25 more pounds than a sporty! I believe my 92 weighs in at 600.

Do tell.... I’ve always found it odd that it’s a “chopper” company with a seemingly total focus on the Dyna scene.

Jeff Holt did a M8 one. I think it was a 158” motor.

BBC added a custom rear section to a Dyna frame.

I don't particularly like BBC. I don't like their mounts. But he didn't put a TC in an FXR. He put a hand built FXR style rear frame section on a wrecked FXDLS frame. I would imagine it's longer than an FXR. And definitely weighs more, probably more than a Dyna. Thats a dyna engine antrans in there.
And yes I saw someone was building an M8 FXR.
