Default 2003 Super Glide

My 2003 super glide keeps dying lime it’s running out of gas. Was out the other day and everything was fine and then it’s just died. Let it sit for 10 minutes and it fired right back up and rode for about 2 minutes before it did it again. Did it like ( times before I coasted into my driveway. No electrical problems, just seemed like it was running itself out of fuel.

What was the fuel level inyour tank and what position was the petcock in?

Sounds like the vacum hose from the petcock to the carb is leaking or not fitted as it should be?

I had a quarter tank, first time it died I thought I was out of gas so I turned it to reserve but it did the same thing on reserve.

Check coil. Fail when hot then they’ll work briefly. Also crank position sensor.

Also, next time, loosen the filer cap on the tank to see if there's a vacuum.

All good suggestions, sometimes the vent in the gas cap will get clogged and prevent the gas from flowing. The loosening of the gas cap is a valid one.

I've had this problem twice in the past. One time it was the coil, the other time it was a vacuum problem with the tank.

so I checked my coil first. From what ive read it’s supposed to put out .6 ohms. The ohms meter is reading 1.6, could this be a issue?

I had my crank position sensor go bad on me a few years ago. I'd ride it until it got hot, then it would just die. Then after waiting a few minutes it would run, then die when it got hot. If I ran it hard at higher rpm it shut down faster (heat), if it babied it at super lower rpms it would go quite a bit longer. That might give you and idea as to whether or not it's a heat issue.
