Fat Bob 2015 problem
Hi Guys
New member here , but I have been using the forum for the last 5 years.
Mi bike is a 2015 model Fat Bob , 103 engine. Stage 1
VH fuelpak 3.
In february the bike started to go badly when I was driving with a passenger.
Setting out and lacking power. Stuttering.
The funny thing is when I drive alone the bike runs like a champ.
I have checked all electrical connections,especially frame, and the battery.
All fine.
So I gave up and took it to the local dealer.
They told me it was the throttle position sensor.
I said ok , order me a new.
I have called them several times,and every time they tell me its not in stock at the factory but it will come on that date,and they will call me.
But it newer comes on the date they tell me.
Now I have been waiting almos 5 months,and they have still not called me.
What shall I do ?

Try calling other dealers. They may not be local but maybe you can get them to ship it, or pick it up yourself.
How many times in 5 months did you call them for an update? If never, maybe they have it and forgot to call you.

I have called them 3-4 times. Every time the answer is yes it will arrive on that day and we will call you.
when they don’t call I call and then , ohh yes it will arrive on another date,we will call you.
Iam just wondering if the problem is the throttle position sensor,or something else ?

+1 on other dealers or an indie.
OR you could order online.
And it's not that hard to replace it yourself.
Or you could take the part with you to a dealer or an indie.
Although, to be honest, can't figure how the TPS would be any different with or without a passenger.
That may be why they're not "getting the TPS in for you" ....
