Default GROUND CLEARANCE

Has anyone hit the bottom of their StreetBob because of going of a speed bump or curve? The Bob gas two protrusions coming from the frame around the area of the foot pegs, what are these for?

It is there to protect the transmission from hitting things like speed bumps.
