RE: Saddlebags for Street Bob
I purchased Leatherworks throwovers. I dig their buffalo nicklehead design. I had a leathershop sew on eyeholes on the corners and I string leather strips in them and tie them to bike loosely just for precaution. Didn't need to buy mounting brackets and they work great!

My bags ain't systhetic leather. They are real leather. My friend had synthetic leather and stuck some heavy stuff in his synthetic leather bags and they got on the pipes and melted. This caused me to want real leather Don't know what kind of bags yer lookin for. I looked for a year and deceided on the Drag Specialities JPCycles has. They measure 16x12 1/2 x 5 1/2, thurns out the 16" is really 15" and fits very well between the turn signals. The bags collapse when nothin is in them for less wind drag. I've been over to a Biker Bar and had a lot of the guys telling me they really like em. Let me know what you think.

Just got the Foxcreek bags on Friday. Fit like a glove with no strapping down or moving turn signals. Look good too. I likes 'em.

Found these in my barn....old willie max bags. A little on the small side but do the trick. I do like the look of those fox creek bags.

Lisa,

I bought these.

http://www.ccsaddlebags.com/MB15002s...ainpktsall.htm

I think these are some the best looking bags for a dyna but also in quality. They're leather, have the back pouch for wallet, smokes, glasses etc You can also buy the easy brackets from these guys. That's the way to go. No ugly brackets left when you remove the bags. You can also get (which I did) the ez carry strap which works great when bringing your bags into hotels etc No offense to the willie/max fans but i think you get what you pay for. I've always found their stuff not only to be cheap, but look cheap. It's not leather and is very flimsy. Good luck, hope you find what you're after. Bossbags (www.bossbags.com) also has awesome bags. I used to have these on my softail but they're really pricey.

here's a couple of pics of the bags mounted on my bike:

RE: Saddlebags for Street Bob
Anyone have bags on without relocating the turn signals that aren't throwovers? I have some HD Big Bags but I need to have some that I can remove and carry in when travelling. THX

Hey I just bought a street bob and your bags are awesome looking. How did you attach them? I don't want to move the turnsignals and I want to be able to take them off once in a while without a big hassel. Bob
