Default pulls like a Freight Train

Just spent the day tearing apart a perfectly good 9500 mile 06 street bob. I installed my low buck 95" kit with ported stock heads, SE 10.25:1 cast pistons W/ .055 shaved off the domes, Andrews 37Hs , and it feels like a completly different bike. I was expecting to drop a little torque off idle since the cams are 20 degrees longer than stock, but the increase in displacment and compression more than made up for that. This thing pulls harder now rolling it on in fourth than the stg 1 88 did on a downshift. I havent even messed with the fuel curve yet, I just went up 2 bars (10%) everywhere on the PCIII. Anyone considering a similar build out there should know its well worth the time, and you dont have to buy a bunch of magic s#!% either. I got the extra heads, and barrels right here in the parts for sale forum.

I also would like to know as much as possible! I have been tossing this idea around for a while now and REALLY want to do it! how much did it cost you total? take any pics... I have rebuilt car motors and old school CB750 honda motors but have never had the ***** to open up my HD.... expecially since i spent more money on my bike than anything before in my life! How hard would you say it was? and my last questions... sorry i have so many.... where did you get the parts! thanks man

I was thinking of picking up someones old heads and jugs and having them machined to save money and have less downtime on the bike. Keep us updated. Did someone local do your heads or did you send them in somewhere?

Call me with any questions you have (818) 406-9164 I put my kit together for about 950.00 total, and that included the cores I got from the parts for sale forum, but I got a real good deal on head work. We could duplicate the set up for about 1100-1200 i think, maby less, and I am willing to rent out my cam tools for 35.00 with a deposit.
