Default Dyna questions

I’m sure this has been discussed here, but I figured I’d create a new post. New to this forum and looking to pick up my first Harley. Grew up on dirt bikes and had a dual sport for awhile. Only been on crotch rockets other than that. I’m interested in a few dynas. I’m really torn between the superglide and street bob. Years from 2008 or so and up. Any significant differences between the two besides cosmetics? Seems to be close to the same bike. I also really like the dyna low rider s and the brand new softail lowrider s. Just looking for differences between the dynas basically. Any info anyone wants to add is much appreciated. Thanks.

SuperGlide and Street Bob are the same when comparing bikes of the same year, only differences are cosmetics, handlebars, seats, etc. Low Rider is a slightly 'fancier' model with more chrome, and 1.5 deg rake in the trees, the S model blacks everything out and adds the bigger motor.

I've got both a Superglide and a Street Bob. My answer to "What's a Street Bob?" Superglide with a trim package.

The Super glide custom with chrome and spoke wheels look the best. I don't like the raw bare metal look of the plain fxd engine/trans combo. FXDC If you like chrome. Pound for Pound dollar for dollar the best all around bike Harley ever made IMHO. Old school Harley look.

yeah I love the look of the superglide as well. The street bob is cool too. Theoretically I could make a street bob look like a superglide it seems like.

All dynas went to six speed in 2006 but they still had the 88ci engine. 2007 and up has 96ci engine and six speed.

Stay with 2007, it came with a 96 inch motor and a 6 speed. 2014 and up came with a TC 103 motor. The dyna's can swap parts around to make your Dyna special. My Low Rider (2015 w/twin disk brakes up front and a Wide Glide flamed Tank)

) .
