Default Swing arm bushing question

Pulled the swing arm off my 07 FXDL today to inspect bearing and bushing for wear. Right side bushing looks good but some confusion on the spacer orientation... When I pulled it out pretty sure the chamfered end was inboard. Service manual says chamfered end should be outboard and shows that in the diagram. Parts manual says shows chamfered end inboard and searching here says chamfered end inboard. I'm thinking I will go with chamfered end in.

Anyone who's done this know for sure? Does it make a difference?

Is this something that can wait or should I get it fixed right away and is that a reasonable price for it?

I did control arm bushing on my old Ford Ranger, it was really easy and cost $30-$40 per side for the parts. Do the ball joints as long as you have things taken apart, adds another $40 per ball joint. Had around 250k miles when they needed to be replaced.
