Swing arm bushing question
Pulled the swing arm off my 07 FXDL today to inspect bearing and bushing for wear. Right side bushing looks good but some confusion on the spacer orientation... When I pulled it out pretty sure the chamfered end was inboard. Service manual says chamfered end should be outboard and shows that in the diagram. Parts manual says shows chamfered end inboard and searching here says chamfered end inboard. I'm thinking I will go with chamfered end in.
Anyone who's done this know for sure? Does it make a difference?

I had my 2008 Chevy Cobalt in the shop to get my ignition switch replaced because of a recall and they told me that my lower control arm bushings were worn out. They wanted to charge $679.20 for this so I deferred it until I learned more about this. Is this something that can wait or should I get it fixed right away and is that a reasonable price for it?
