has anyone raked out the front end with larger forks and if so how involved was it and what did you use I have a 04 super glide and want to rake out the forks some without lowering the bike.
I'm not sure what you mean by raking the front with larger forks. You can do a search of the site with rake as the criteria, and use my handle as author. I've answered a few questions about it over the past few months. There are some links in the threads, too.
Here's the basics: Rake the frame by cutting/welding, or by installing raked cups. Do not rake by using raked trees. Use raked trees to correct for too much trail after raking the frame or installing raked cups. Calculations must be done to figure out the extra length needed in the fork tubes. No matter what route you go, it's involved.
