Question Did the O2 sensor locations

Did HD change the location of the O2 sensors when they switched between narrow band to wide band? I know the size and thread pitch changed but did the location change that would make it impossible to just use a bung adapter to use the older exhaust for the newer bike, would the cables be long enough for the location of the bung? I want a specific exhaust but can only find it for the older model before the switch in sensors. Thanks for any knowledge on this!!

They never changed to wideband. It's always been narrowband. They just switched the sizes of the sensors used

What he said ^^^
Now, there may be some location differences in exhaust bungs between older (pre '06) and newer Dynas. I can't help you on that but maybe someone here could, if you can provide more details.

I thought I read somewhere that the location of the o2 sensor on the head pipe changed at some point. I can get adapters for the size of the sensor, just worried about the placement due to the length of the sensor wires.
