Default 2014 fxdb bcm

I completed a 110 big bore kit on my dyna and tried to start it for my first heat cycle. The motor turned over fine but didn't start. After this the starter solenoid was buzzing and another try to start failed.
I found that the connector on the starter has a constant voltage even with the ignition and right handle bar control disconnected. The only way to remove this voltage is to disconnect the BCM or pull the master
fuse. Also after the first failed start the left handlebar controls don't work at all, front turn signals are out and front/rear brake switches are not functional. The speedometer only shows total miles and wont switch to
any other displays. The battery was fully charged but tried another just in case. I ordered a non security BCM and will try this. I also have a thunder-max ecm so I'm told I need to re-install the stock ecm and take it
to the dealer to "marry" the BCM to the bike. I am gonna try to install the BCM with the Thunder-max ecm and see how it goes. I'm in South Korea so dealerships could be difficult and very expensive.
This bike had ABS and security, I removed the ABS and think the non-security BCM will remove the security. Does anyone have any experience with this scenario ?

Installed a new non-security BCM. The starter solenoid circuit is now good and the bike turns over fine. Got spark and fuel but no start. LHCM still inop. Brake lights inop, front signals inop

Local Korean Harley dealer will flash a BCM for 50,000 won, I have to buy the BCM from them 459,000 won. I already bought one from Ronnie's HD $178.99. The dealer told me the part would be unreliable and they won't flash it.
So, I've ordered a used BCM from Ebay $109. I didn't want used but no real choice.

The foreign goods import taxes are ridiculous in these Asian counties all the while Korean products are actually cheaper in the US than Korea. On base here Korean Televisions are less than half the cost of the same product on the local economy.
This trade issue was being addressed.
1 USD = 1,191 KRW

How can the dealer say the part is unreliable? It's just as reliable or unreliable as any stock electronic part. Just trying to sell you their stuff. Since you already bought and paid for your BCM you might as well use that. I don't think you can return electrical parts anyway.

Update:
I went through the entire wire harness, checked all connections and taped off unused ones. Put everything back together, reset the thunder-max, ignition to accessory then ignition. Only brake and right front turn signal out now. Bike started and heat cycled.
This is with a new non-security unflashed BCM from harley and thunder-max ecm. I think the turn signal and brake light may be because of the bcm flash. I'm now waiting for a used dyna bcm from ebay to verify all of this.
