Tail light socket
I have a 95' Dyna FXDS-CONV. it has the stock tail light on it with the 1157 bulb and socket. I want to change it out to an aftermarket United Pacific LED tail light assembly. However when I ordered the aftermarket tail light assembly, I was unaware that it has the 3157 socket plug end on it. So now I am in a quandary. Does anyone know of a replacement 3157 socket that I can put in the stock housing? Or would it be better if I just got an aftermarket housing assembly from JP, DK etc. and put that on instead and sell the one I have? Here are a couple pictures so you can see what I am talking about. I would be grateful for all of your knowledge. Thank you very much.

Are you saying the new tail light has a pigtail that emulates a 3157 bulb? If so, then yeah, get a 3157 socket and piggyback it onto your existing wiring. Or, cut the plug off and splice the wires into your harness.
