Default Fork oil seal leaking?

Hello everyone,
I have a question , Is it normal for a little oil on the tubes after riding?
I have noticed just alittle on the tubes when cleaning the bike after riding. sooner or later I'am going to have to add some fork oil.
for some reason I never noticed it on my other bike.

Thanks Eno

Eno, I've got an '07 LR with billet fork front seals. I have scratches on my sliders because the chrome on my lowers is actually too thick, scratching my u ppers. I'm not getting any leaking yet, but I will. Do you have any scratches on your sliders?

It's normal if you have a bad fork seal. It needs to be replaced.

I do not get oil on my tubes. I would get it looked at.

Wait... Are we talking oil on the tubes or a light film? On my Dyna I can see a difference on the surface of the tubes where the travel is. It looks likea slight discoloration that wipes off. It is a light film that I believe can't be avioded. I had the same thing on my last bike. It isn't a leak per se and would take a long time to reach the need to "top off" the fluid. This doesn't constitute bad seals IMHO

A light film of oil is normal.
