I'm experiencing a very small fork oil leak in my left fork on my '06 Ultra. I don't have but about 6,500 mi on the clock. Anybody had a problem with this??

Unless it's at the botom of the fork it may be just grease runoff from the steering head bearings. It usually shows up on left side at top of fork and looks like oil leak.

I had a similar problem with my 07 Ultra. When the bike got hot, I would get what looked like oil dripping down the right fork. Took it in and they took everything apart, said the seal looked fine but they replaced anyway. Rode off, 3 hours later, same thing. Then I got to thinking, why would the seal look OK and the replace anyway. I told a friend of mine about it that works in the service dept at a HD dealer and the first thing he asked me was "What color is the fluid?" I said looks like a light color of oil. He said it is not fork oil then, it would be RED. He told me to check the steering head bearing because the techs are always putting to much grease in them and it oozes out. This is exactly what was wrong, they cleaned it all off and no more oil! No charge I might add!
