I'd like to put a new face on my 2008 Fat Bob 5" speedo this winter and change the scale a bit. Would go from 0-200KPH. Can the 2008 speedo be recalibrated?
you can change the pulse output in the tune and it will recalibrate the speedo. Method of change in your tuner might be a little different from what I had to do since my bike runs the Can-bus type ECM. but all I had to do was change the pulses to correct my speedo when I changed my rear pulley size. I used the number given to me by a tri glide guy to correct. So I'm not sure how you need to calculate to determine the number you need to enter to correct your speedo.

Some Tuners can do it. Dakota digital makes a unit you install between senor or ECM depending on the year that allows you to calibrate it also. i have one on my 96 FB.
For 2008 you need the one that goes between ECM a speedometer .
