I have a '14 Fxdb and I recently bent a fork tube. I found a set on eBay that said they fit my bike so I ordered them. I was just gonna tear down the ones on my bike and use the internals in the ones I ordered, but they appear to use a smaller diameter damper. They are 49mm 25 1/2 in. just like what's on my bike but my stock damper with the 14mm bolt is too big to fit through the opening at the bottom of the fork tube. What parts do I need in order to use these fork tubes with the springs and stuff tht I already have?
A fork tube is the upper part of the fork.. Are you calling the fork lower a "fork tube" So you ordered lowers and they have a smaller hole? If that's the case you may simply need to order the damping rod and bolts from the bike that the forks cam off of.. I don't know if uppers you are using are compatible tho..

I'm referring to the fork tube, not the lower. The one on the left is what came off my bike. The one on the right is what came from ebay. My damper rod doesn't fit through that hole.

Well a I'd say that the one of the right is likely off an earlier bike. maybe an 06-07. Don't know but I suspect that if you find the right damper, the damper bolt for that tube has a smaller thread on it...

Anytime you buy a used part from eBay, you take a chance...
All too often I find parts on eBay that are listed by the wrong part number. There are a lot of sellers on eBay that don't know what they have....
If the seller said they would fit, send them a copy of the pic, and demand your money back...
Just had that issue happen with a set of used drag specialty 13-in shocks from fallen cycle that I bought on eBay.., Well they said they were 13" but they weren't, they were 12" I had to send them back.. Hopefully I got my money back..
