Don't have any experience with a springer, but I've ran both 2 over and 4 over front ends on previous versions of my bike. The 2 over wasn't much different from stock as far as handling, but the 4 over was definitely a bit twitchy at low speeds and parking lots. Perfectly fine once up to speed though.
The modern springer was on a Softail I believe 31 inches.
on graph paper you should be able to draw out the rake and trail of the two head angles vs wheels size
Thanks guys. Will a 2 Over springer make the bike look like it sits up a lot higher in the front end, or will it just look more like 2 inches stretched out? I'm looking for as much of a long and low look as I can get.

After doing a bit more reading, I think a 2 over and a 23 inch wheel is going to set it up too high in the front. So, i could go with stock length. Or they make a 3 under, but I'm not sure if that would be too low for a 23 inch wheel to work?
@" over plus a 23" tire will actually put it in the area of 4" over.. Stock is a 19".. Never seen a Dyna with a 23... They look great on a bigger Bagger but not so sure about a Dyna..
