Default 2017 Low Rider Brake Disc

I noticed these dark lines on the front rotor.
In the second picture you can see where I wiped my finger across it.
It left a dry gray smudge on my finger.
It is not brake fluid.
Any ideas?

That’s just normal brake pad residue. The dark lines are pad material transfer. The gray smudge is fine dust from normal wear. Nothing to worry about unless you feel pulsing or grooves.

I’d pop the pads and give them a look over.

Probably just normal road crud and probably have some on the pads. Get some spray brake cleaner between the rotor and pads, and wipe it all down. You will be surprised how much gunk get up around the caliper pistons.
