Default Bareback Sadlebag Quick Release

Have any of you guys got the Barebacks Saddlebag quick release system. I have searched the forum and found a little info on them but am hoping that some of you use them. I know that there are Easy Bracket and Ghost Bracket users out there and I have read plenty about them. Just looking for info on the Barebacks system.

In my search, I did find a little info on Bubbas Quick disconnect system and it seemed interesting but their web site does not have much info. If any of you use them, I would like to hear from you also.

Thanks,

Jim

Seems like I remember MrKicks has those for his bike? I was looking at buying some once upon a time and remember he said they worked quite well for him.

I have had them on my 2001 Superglide. I used them with the "Dyna Big Bags" from HD. They worked great. Easy on and off. very secure when on the bike. Took a trip from Upstate NY to Myrtle Beach Bike week and back, no problems. I highly recomend them. Also they are clean looking when the bags are off. Hope this helps! Scott

Put them on my 01 FXD this summer, had to relocate the rear turn signals with an 02 kit. They are easy on easy off. Love the fact I can take the bags off and on.

Sounds good. I like the clean looks when the bags are off and the fact that they don't add a big plate to the back of the bag. The only drawback that I see is that you cannot lock the bags to the bike like you can with a couple of the other systems but that is not a big deal to me.

Thanks for the help.

jim,
I also use them on my 06 WG, and love them. I've gone cross country a few times with them attached to the standard HD saddlebags with no problems. Locking them is not a problem for me, since the bags come off as soon as I reach a destination where I can lock them up. I only use my bags on overnight trips.

Yes I do have them on mine and I really like them. Unlike some of the other systems, you get virtually no rattle, and they don't extend out much. Only complaint I would have (and it's just a minor inconvience) is that sometimes they are hard to get off with out some pliers because the cam shifts. Not a big deal and it's only once in a while.
