I had over 80,000 miles on the 11" 411s on my old FXRS and had no leaks. Must have made them better back then.

same thing happened to mine. call them and make sure you have the serial numbers. looks like there was a batch (however somewhat small) that they are having problems with this. when i told him what happened (the oil blowout and that the shock separated when removed), he asked for the # then said..."yep....send them in, we'll send you another set". so it sounded like he was expecting it. the return was pretty quick too.
