I'm looking for a decent set of bags that don't require the turn signal relocation. I have the stand-offs installed on my 07 FXD and I have an old set of Auburn leather over the seat bags. I'd like something that is a more permanent mount but want them to fit with the original turn signal location. Anyone have any ideas??? THanks for your help.
I have some bags from these folks: www.leatherneckjim.com
Top quality stuff at reasonable prices& great people to work with.
I have their throw-overs, but will be changing out to quick detachables & doing the relo thing. Went to the throw-overs because that was my only option without moving the tail lights. I seldom take my bags off and will be putting the slant TO's up for sale. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...48-43_0003.jpg
How much are you looking to get for the TO's? Might be interested if the price is right.PM me. Some of my wife's familylives in Billings. Been there a few times. Thinking about a ride from here, to there, to Jackson Hole, and into Yellowstone. Maybe next summer...
I just take my side plates from my sissy bar and flip them upside down and then use U bolts to hold on a thow over bag that i cut the throw over part off... no signal relocation ness. here are a few pics
Relocating the rear turn signals are no big deal. I did mine myself in a matter of 30 minutes and it looks great. I had to relocate them because I made a set of quick detachable hard bags for when the old lady goes with me.
