I'd like to throw some fatboy style wheels on my superglide. Any ideas where to start looking?

I'd look for some with the holes in them, I hear from my buddy's that the wind blows the wheels kinda hard from being solid.

The only thing I can think of is that might fit is the wheels comming out on the new Fatbob.. (ugh)

BTW I have also heard the same thing from a buddy of mine about the solid dish wheels... also.. if you do find a set can I get dibs on your old SG mags?

Would you have to switch to a Wideglide front end to fit the Fatboy wheels?

I have the solids on 02 FXD. The rear is no problem. The front required wider front end

I've heard the same thing about the solid wheels and wondered if it may be an issue with the fat bob. Not sure if the small slots in relation to the size of the wheels would make that much of a difference as far as a strong crosswind goes.

I thought to just get the front fork sliders off the fat bob. For my 06 st.bob.I was told they are not going to fit because of the axles in the 08s are hollow.
