What kind of windshield do you have Doug? I've viewed a lot of threads re: different windshields, and buffeting and trying to find the 'sweet spot' as far as adjustment. I have a memphis shades shooter - small and was the look I wanted (didn't really want a windshield looks wise but found the wind blast on the chest on longer trips tiring). It made a huge difference as far as pressure on my chest but still find the buffeting around my eyes and head kind of brutal.
Well, last time pics didn't go............. tryin again!![8D]
2 different lighters, 1 has the chrome button and boot, the other is just plain black, but with the internation symbol for lighter, so I know what it is.
If you were a Real Biker®you'd just chew up the beansthen stick the cigarette lighter in your mouth to warm it up.
If I was a Real Biker I would not need the lighter, would not bother chewing the beans (just swallow them whole), and I would not have the intelligence to use a computer in the first place (IMHO).
First Real Biker to respond to this, is a farce. Please don't come and burn my house down, because I only rent it.
thanks, i was thinking of putting one on my ride and that looks like a good spot. thanks for sharing. jackyl
Its a tight fit, it will have to share space with the ECM cabling. Keep it as far forward on the electrical cover as you possibly can to avaoid cutting into the cable. I think I would be more comfortable with my mod, if I had been about 1/4" more forward, but its all good.
Another place it would fit is the bottom rear of the electrical cover, but might be hard to reach at 80 mph. You also wouldn't be able to access it with saddle bags on.
Wish I could have mounted it on the top. Overall, not a bad mod for $3.Can't wait to get my coffee pot.
