Default chrome headlight

What company makes a decent chrome headlight for an 06 streetbob. Or is the HD chrome headlight the way to go?

Do you have to have chrome? I saw a cool looking black aluminum one in JP Cycles part# 310-470 $144.99 It's a bottom mount just like my 06 Bob

As long as it's a bottom mount and not too long, any chrome headlight should work - for best selection check the J&P Cycles website or catalog. Often some good stuff shows up on eBay. Only possible compatibility issue arises with wiring harnesses. Just need to splice some wires worst case, so not that big a deal.

Here's what mine looks like. It's the HD 4-1/2" model.

I stayed with the stock seven inch light but used a chrome visor trim ring with a Headwinds mount to move it up and out a bitthen used the original trim ring as the inner ring on my air cleaner. Kinda like the contrast of black and chrome.

Good Luck

Tom

I just bought the headlight you probably brought up from Eastern Performance. I also notice you don't have a stock headlight.&nbsp\\;The new headlight I got has 1 red wire &amp\\; 1 yellow wire. My 2001 Deuce has 2 yellow, 1 black &amp\\; 1 white. If you did change it out, do you remember what wires went to what? I did a search &amp\\; couldn't find anything on it.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks in advance.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

This is what I'm using. Not custom, but better than the stocker and cheap. Wiring is the same or very similar as stock. I don't remember the details, but I did have to change something minor:
