Default Engine Problem or Not? Please Help!

I have an 07 Street Bob. A few weeks ago the oil light started to flicker occassionally. I thought it was maybe a connection, but thought I might as well use the warranty. Took it in the tech said loose connection back on and all is good. By the time I rode home 20 min, it was flickering again, WTH? Pulled in the garage and thought I would check the connection, a few flickers happened over bumps. About 20 min after being home, I went to the garage to put some stuff away and it smelled like someone dumped gas in my garage and bike seems quite hot still. I have Vance and Hines slipons and haven't upgraded a/c or remapped and I'm starting to wonder if I have some other damage going on. Any advice and any of the issues would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering if you found out why the oil light was flickering

Dealership told me it was a loose/dirty connection. I'm going to check out the connection again today. Another thing I noticed is that after running the bike, oil seems very weak and broken down. I might change oil to see if I ended up with a bad container of oil.

I suspect the oil pressure sending unit. All under warranty. Gas smell, you didn't say how full the tank is. If the tank is full and engine hot, you will have some vapors or gas out the vent tube when you park and until the engine cools down.
