Pricing question?
Bike has 1500 miles, detachable windshield, mounted bags. It's mine and will be posting it as soon as I have enough threads as per the moderator. Was wondering how to price it. Thanks.
Price, difference would be the dealer additional charges, extras etc, 2006 also has the 6 speed and fromwhat I've been hearing doesn't throw as much heat from that rear cylinder. Don't want to get into an argument thanks for your comment.

You can try it. I do know the price of the 2006 models did take a hit when the bigger engine was released. On HDtrader it looks like most of these bikes are priced from $12-$13K.

It's hard to compare with what a dealer lists a bike for. Some have little add-ons that they tell you about after they have you hooked. On the other hand, sometimes they list it high and then come down to get you to sign. Finding the real price is hard.
I believe the best way is to list it at what you want to get for it, plus a couple hundred so you have room to be a nice guy and come down. Have it listed in multiple places, such as this forum, Craig's List, etc. Put a sign on it. (When I was looking for a bike, my friends kept telling me about bikes for sale that they saw in town with signs.)If not and aftera month or two has passed, re-list at at lower price. And rememberwe are going intothe slow season, so don't panic if it takes a while. Be patient and you can get a good price, near the one you suggested at the start.
