Guy's, I'm having a hard time getting a straight answer from the local dealers on the wheels on my 07 Dyna. Are they coated or not? I don't want to hose up the coating if they are but I have some pretty harsh stains I need to remove.

Take some simichrome or autosol and try to polish a small area. If the rag turns black , it's bare . Discovered my Custom was bare aluminum (rear only)and gave it the treatment. Close to chrome as polished aluminum gets.

If they´re aluminum, they ´re coated.
