A state salt truck must have had some trouble, it's brine nozzles (or the operator) messed up and dumped a lot of brine solution for about 1/4 mile. I managed to run through most of it. Anyway, I didn't get a chance that evening to clean it off (lie...just didn't do it). After a couple of days, I finally cleaned it off. The paint and chrome was not affected. The polished aluminum lower fork brace of the tree was stained. I got about 90% of it off. Paint and chrome has several coats of wax which probably help.
