Default RE: air filter question from a rookie

ORIGINAL: street2007bob

Thanks guys. Are the fuel pack and air filter something a shade tree mechanic can install or would I want to go to the dealer and pay them as well. I assume that that would double the cost!
As others have said, you can do it all yourself. You don't even have to be shadetree mechanic status to do it. The a/c install is easy - just follow the supplied instructions and do not overtighten anything and always, always use loctite when you install a screw or bolt. The fuelpak install is very easy. However, on a dyna, you are working in a very confined space. Just take your time and it is no problem. Follow the instructions and I'd highly recommend watching the video for installing on a dyna several times over. The video is on the fuelpak website - http://www.fuelpakfi.com/Videos/dyna-hi.html
